SSS Rank
This is the god tier in the Fate Grand Order tier list because none of these servants can be beaten by any. If you want to be a pro at every battle, undoubtedly, these should be the first priority because of their high power and unbeatable skills.
Zhuge Liang (El-Melloi II)
Role: /Defensive Caster
Zhuge Liang stands out as a go-to pick for anyone looking to stabilize and extend team fights. His entire kit revolves around keeping your team fueled and protected, charging their NP gauges, reducing incoming damage, and boosting crit star gen. When things get tricky, his Noble Phantasm steps in by cutting down enemy NP gauges and softening their defenses with Curse and debuffs. He’s especially handy in drawn-out fights where Arts teams need time to loop and control the pace of the battle.
Scathach-Skadi
Role: Offensive/ Caster
Scathach-Skadi brings explosive energy to Quick-centric lineups. She’s all about speed and burst, handing out hefty Quick buffs and a generous 50% NP charge to allies. Her crit-enhancing abilities and star generation make her an easy fit in teams focused on repeated NP use and critical strikes. Her Noble Phantasm doesn't just hit all enemies, it can also stun them, giving your team a breather. She’s the core of fast-paced comps that shine in both farming sessions and clutch boss takedowns.
Merlin
Role: /Offensive Caster
Merlin is the definition of all-round with a benefit for Buster-based damage. He boosts offense with powerful Buster buffs and crit star creation, but his real value lies in keeping the whole party safe and topped up. With a mix of NP gauge charging, healing, and team-wide invincibility, Merlin becomes the backbone of many Buster teams, helping them survive the roughest fights while dishing out massive damage when we need it the most.
Altria Caster
Role: /Offensive Caster
Altria Caster is the dream partner for any Arts team. She offers broad utility with party-wide NP charging, solid Arts buffs, and bonus damage against specific enemy types. Her skillset mixes offense and defense, giving both invincibility and attack boosts, while her Noble Phantasm delivers AoE damage and even more NP gain. Whether it’s for looping through waves or sustaining damage in longer fights, she keeps your Arts Servants running at full control and flow with smooth NP cycling and consistent pressure.
SS Rank
SS rank in the Fate Grand Order is also another name for the god tier. The only reason they become second to the SSS rank is because they lack a slight amount of power but are still considered as one of the highest power ranks, holding servants from the best power.
Tamamo-no-Mae
Role: Caster
Tamamo-no-Mae brings steady, calming power to Arts teams. Her presence makes it easier for Servants to spam their skills and unleash their NPs more often, thanks to cooldown reduction and boosted Arts effectiveness. With healing built into both her skills and her ultimate move, she keeps everyone standing longer, all while reducing enemy attack power. She’s a must-have for drawn-out encounters, especially when you're aiming to loop through NPs and outlast your enemies.
Space Ishtar
Role: Offensive Avenger
Space Ishtar is a one-woman powerhouse who can shift gears mid-battle. Whether you need Arts, Buster, or Quick, she can adapt on the fly, giving her unmatched flexibility. Her toolkit includes piercing invincibility, crit boosts, and NP gain buffs, letting her unleash serious AoE damage. She’s a favorite for both farming and harder fights, seamlessly sliding into different team comps and always keeping up the pressure.
Sima Yi (Reines)
Role: /Defensive Rider
Sima Yi—better known as Reines, takes the reins when things get dangerous. She focuses on shielding the team with invincibility, cleansing debuffs before they become a problem, and keeping NP gauges filled. She’s all about controlling the pace of battle, reducing enemy NP progress and boosting ally defenses. When the goal is to stall, delay, and survive tough encounters, Reines fits right in with her calm, calculated style.
Kama
Role: Offensive Assassin
Kama blends charm and power into one sleek package. She works perfectly in Arts-focused setups, dishing out AoE damage while charming enemies and applying burn. Her skills fast NP gain and even let the team recover some NP after her big move. Kama's a flexible pick who keeps enemies locked down while piling on the damage.
Arjuna (Alter)
Role: Offensive Berserker
Arjuna (Alter) doesn’t play around as he enters the field ready to wreck everything in sight. With some of the hardest-hitting Buster-based damage in the game, he clears waves effortlessly and doesn’t flinch at tougher content. His skills cover self-healing, star gen, and pure offensive force, while his signature move hits hard and wipes buffs off enemies. When raw power is what you need, he’s the one to call.
S Rank
When it comes to the S rank in the Fate Grand Order tier list, they are also exceptional-level heroes. They will not be at a similar level to who are in the SSS and SS ranks yet we consider these servants the top-tier choices, too.
The best heroes we can choose from this rank are as follows.
Super Orion: Super Orion hits like a truck. As a single-target Archer, his Buster crits can tear through bosses. His skills ramp up critical power and NP gain, and his NP ignores defense while dishing out huge damage. He’s built for prolonged fights where every hit matters.
Senji Muramasa: Muramasa is a swift AoE Saber who blends Arts synergy with serious output. He boosts his NP gain and crit potential, then slices through enemies while stripping buffs. Great for farming or boss waves, he’s smooth and deadly.
Leonardo da Vinci (Rider): Da Vinci Rider is an Arts-looping ace. Her skills charge NPs and boost Arts performance, setting up steady AoE attacks. She keeps farming runs efficient and consistent, handling multi-wave fights with ease.
Ashiya Douman: Douman is an Arts-based Alter Ego who thrives on disruption. He boosts NP gain and spreads curses, then hits all enemies with a damaging and debuff-heavy NP. He fits well in teams that like to chip away and control the flow.
Altria Pendragon (Archer): Altria Archer is a clean Arts looper with AoE focus. Her skills offer quick NP charge and strong Arts buffs, letting her clear waves smoothly. She shines in farming setups where efficiency matters most.
that all these SSS, SS and S-ranked servants have a low drop rate, which means it might take a lot of pulls to collect them from the Multi-Instance Sync feature. With that, you can create different instances of the same game and use them all at once to reroll these servants. This is going to help you increase your chances of collecting a powerful servant in a minute.
A Rank
A rank comes with the best servants with the best skill sets and strength levels. When you aren’t capable of having a servant from god tiers, these are some good alternatives to rely on.
If you go with A rank, these are the servants we can recommend you go with.
Gilgamesh: Gilgamesh brings raw power with his Buster-heavy kit. He buffs his attack and NP damage, then unleashes Enuma Elish to wipe out waves with ease. He’s deadly in farming and holds up strong in high-difficulty battles.
Ibuki-Douji: Ibuki-Douji strikes with elegant force as a Buster-based AoE Saber. Her skills crit damage and NP gain, setting her up for a hard-hitting AoE finish. Great for both fast clears and boss-heavy stages.
Meltryllis: Meltryllis dances through single-target fights with her Arts-centered style. She pierces invincibility, builds NP quickly, and hits hard while lowering enemy defense. She’s a reliable pick for tough bosses and focused duels
B Rank
B-rank servants are good and immensely powerful in certain scenarios. This doesn’t mean that they lack skills, but they still do. But sometimes, as a beginner, you may find it a struggle to handle them to the top due to their niche-specific skills.
And here are our top recommendations under this rank.
Romulus-Quirinus: Romulus-Quirinus dominates as an AoE Arts Lancer, blending power with style. His skills ramp up NP gain and crit damage, setting the stage for a big finish. His ultimate lands hard, making him a standout for both farming and tougher content.
Taigong Wang: Taigong Wang brings control and flexibility to Arts teams. He charges allies’ NP, throws out enemy debuffs, and follows up with AoE damage that also seals skills. Perfect for quick clears with a side of disruption.
R Scathach: R Scathach is a Quick-based single-target Lancer built for burst and utility. She boosts her Quick cards, stuns targets, and strikes with high damage—and a chance to instant-kill, making her great for bosses that need to go fast
C Rank
C-rank heroes in this Fate Grand Order tier list are good but not as good as those in the above ranks. They are for the Fate Grand Order beginners. These servants are not good at handling the late stages, and here are our top selections from this rank.
Karna: Karna burns through enemy waves with Buster power and style. His skills crank up NP damage and crits, then Vasavi Shakti lands with force. Great for farming and tough bosses that need clearing fast.
Jeanne d'Arc (Alter): Jalter brings fury to single-target battles. Her Buster-based setup boosts crits and NP gain, then she unloads with serious damage. A strong pick for boss fights, especially on crit-heavy teams.
First Hassan: First Hassan strikes with quiet menace. He boosts his damage and ups his death chance, then hits hard with a single blow that can end enemies outright. Perfect against high-HP foes when you need one clean hit to finish the job.
D Rank
D-ranked servants in the Fate Grand Order tier list are average and do not show much strength for many stages. But if you happen to choose them, you can go with the following.
Ereshkigal: Ereshkigal blends Arts damage with team . She ramps up NP gain, reinforces defense, and hits with a wide-reaching blast that also weakens enemies. She’s solid for both quick farming and tricky boss fights.
Tamamo-no-Mae (Lancer): Tamamo Lancer delivers charm literally and figuratively. With Arts-based offense, she charms enemies, boosts NP gain, and unleashes strong single-target damage while shortening cooldowns. A reliable pick for Arts comps and boss duels.
Kingprotea: Kingprotea grows into the fight—literally. She brings self-healing, damage boosts, and a Buster-powered hit that scales in strength. A strong choice when you’re up against bulky enemies and need staying power.
F Rank
F-rank servants in the Fate Grand Order tier list are the worst. They don’t have exceptional skills at all and will fail to handle almost any of the stages in this gameplay. So, you better avoid them. Still, we can name the following servants as the best picks from this rank.
Sigurd: Sigurd brings heavy single-target damage with a Buster edge. He powers up crits, builds NP quickly, and lands a hard-hitting blow that also debuffs. He thrives in boss fights where damage and crit synergy matter.
Okita Souji (Alter): Okita Alter slices through enemies with swift Quick strikes. Her skills boost card power and star flow, setting up a clean AoE hit. Great for fast farming runs and content where speed and pressure win the fight.
Demon King Nobunaga: Demon King Nobunaga goes big with AoE Buster damage and crit power to match. She fires off wide-range attacks that hit hard and fast, making her a strong pick for wave-clears and tougher showdowns.
